As a member of the World Trade Center - Rio Grande Valley, you have access to services designed to meet your local trading and business needs.

• RGVnet - Internet
  Get on-line with the most powerful source of information. By becoming a WTC-RGV member you will have full access to the Internet at no extra charge. RGVnet will provide you with all the existing programs of the Net (www, e-mail, I-phone, Usenet, and more).
  
  
• RGVLink - Teleconferencing Lab*
  Our newest, state of the art, VideoLink allows you to get real-time videoconferencing over a low bandwidth phone line.

  *Service and equipment will require a separate agreement

• WTC Network
  The world's largest electronic bulletin board enables members to advertise products and services and have easy access to valuable global databases at a minimal monthly cost. The network includes a bulletin board, e-mail, trade ofers (buy and sell), global news and extensive information databases.
  
  
• Reciprocal Services
  As a WTC member, you are a member of a global network of over 323 World Trade Centers. While doing business abroad or in another state, you will have access to translators, office space, secretarial services, club privileges, and a variety of business services which might otherwise be difficult to arrange. Virtually, you are establishing offices all around the world.
  
  
• Library
  A wealth of trade information is gathered to assist members in making rational business decisions. Additional information not found in our library may be researched and obtained on request.
  
  
• International Consulting
  Available for those interested in expanding their business to an international level.
  
  
• Seminars
  Seminars cover a wide spectrum of current subjects of importance to the Valley.
  
  
• Translation and Interpretation Services
  Translations are available in almost any language--English, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, French, German and Chinese. Simultaneous interpretation is available.
  
  
• Business Directory
  Published biannually and distributed worldwise, this publication lists public and private entities in the international business field. Advertising is available, and directory listings are provided at no cost to our members.
  
  
• Newsletter
  Information relevant to our area, including member profiles and a special section of current trade leads is presented to keep members informed about current activities and news of interest to those engaged in international business.
  
  
• Referrals
  Trade needs which cannot be met directly by the World Trade Center will be referred to other members who are service providers in these areas.
  
  
• StarTrade Program
  Professional assistance available for those who plan to open new businesses locally and/or globally.

Membership Categories

• Individual Membership is for those "individuals" who do research and like keeping informed of worldwide events and the latest technology advances. Members can enjoy services such as RGVnet, WTC-Network, reciprocal services, library, consulting, seminars, translation services, one listing in our Business Guide, newsletter, trade referrals and professional assistance for your marketing needs through our StarTrade program. $400.00 per year.
  
  
• Corporate Membership includes four differrent alternatives for businesses and professional organizations. Our Corporate Members can enjoy all the services as our individual members plus extra services custom-designed to better fullfil their comapny's needs. All different categories will receive discount rates for prearranged hotels, restaurants, and car rentals. Extra services will vary depending on the choice/needs and the size of the company:
  
  A Class A Membership has a cost of $300.00 and is applicable to organizations with 2-50 employees. They will receive three membership cards for their top level executives, one listing in Business Guide, and a 20% discount for all applicable services.
  

  A Class B Membership has a cost of $550.00 and is applicable to organizations with 51-100 employees. They will receive 5 membership cards, 3 listings in Business Guide, and a 25% discount for all applicable services.
  

  A Class C Membership has a cost of $650.00 and is applicable to the organizations with 101-200 employees. They will receive 8 membership cards, 6 listings in our Business Guide, a 30% discount for all applicable services, and fax delivery for trade delegations and trade events information, and weekly trade leads.
  

  A Class D Membership has a cost of $1,000 and is applicable to organizations with more than 200 employees. They will receive 12 membership cards, 10 listings in Business Guide, a 50% discount for all applicable services, and fax delivery of trade delegation and trade events information, and weekly trade leads.
  

  All types of the WTC membership dues are tax deductible.
